Title:
[EC635AA-ABU t3140.uk, Realtek ALC880, Green Line Out, Rear] No sound

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Was trying to play audio through the totem video player whilst
watching a video. Visual side was perfect, but even with maximal
volume set, there was no audio whatsoever. Test confirmed that the
audio is working ok, so not sure what to do next. Apport says the
fault's with alsa, but I can't understand how alsa can be at fault
when I hear sound whilst doing everything else!!! Your guess is as
good as mine on this one, I'm sending it up the ladder for you to
solve :)
