Public bug reported:

I'm using a pretty new Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme G2. Since a few days,
the laptop does not recognize that its charging all the time. It's
showing the battery icon and a percent number. This must be broken a
couple of days or weeks ago, this was working when I installed Ubuntu
19.10.

It does not depend from dock or directly connecting the AC adapter.

Incredibly long battery life time is shown, see screenshot. (laptop was
connected to AC during this)

This is a problem because for example firmware upgrades does not work
because they require "AC-connected state".
