Since gnome-nettool will now use the results from nmap (in the next release) and is just a wrapper for nmap, this feature will not be added.

For example after initiating a scan you don't know how far it has progressed. Some way of knowing what port it is currently scanning, or how many ports are left to scan would be nice.
