Hi Rob, I'm not seeing that problem here. Can you let us know which podcast you are having a problem with? Please also run
apport-collect 1847639 in a terminal to add debugging information to the bug report, thanks. ** Tags added: eoan ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1847639 Title: Podcast can't resume play once it was paused Status in rhythmbox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I just installed a fresh Ubuntu 19.10 and added a Podcast. I downloaded an episode and pressed play. The podcast did not started to play. The timecode "jumps" to 00:00:00 but it simply does not start. When I pressed the pause button, it stopped, but once I pressed the play button again, it did not resume either. I tried this various times, it does not matter if the episode is downloaded or streamed. Overall system sound works just fine out of the box.
