Public bug reported:
Ran an update as I have now for years with no prior issues.
Seems to go normal. However no connection to network.
Check netplan still has information under etc/netplan/...
I checked that because restart services says networking doesn't exist.
Can't even resolve a domain or anything or ping.
If there is one service that should be guaranteed not to be broken by an
update its networking especially today when most updates are done over
the network. If this server wasn't located on my own property i would
have to visit the datacenter to deal with the issue.
This should never be an issue.
** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
