I am having the same issue, when the computer goes to screensaver tapping a key or moving the mouse will freeze the screensaver but will not display the login screen. However if I type in my password I can get back to my account. Obviously this is undesirable and won't work for computers shared with multiple users. I believe that this is related to GL screensavers only from info. that I have found on the web; if I use "blank screen" as my screensaver everything works fine. Have the same issue on two different machines both running 11.04.

I can use my system for hours, doing a screnn log or just locking because i walked away, I can login fine and then I will come back the the earth picture or whatever is there I move the mouse and it never pops up the login screen/prompt.
