I have the same issue with gnome-calendar 3.28.2, installed as default
in Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.1 (Ubuntu 18.04)

I was trying to find a location for the weather, it crashed, but saved
the location I typed in (which is not compatible), preventing me to open
gnome-calendar again

(gnome-calendar:2076): GcalWeatherSettings-WARNING **: 18:30:13.529: Unknown
location 'Laguépie' selected
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
