Title:
Nautilus crashes silently while I am not using it. I just discover it
is no longer launched the next time I need to use it.

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Nautilus crashes silently a while after I am not using it. This
happens some time after I launch a video from it or maybe I go to
another user space for a bit to use some other application. I just
discover it is no longer launched the next time I need to use it.

This is a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04.2, not an upgrade. I am using
Cinnamon Desktop, but it also does this with Gnome-Classic.
