We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all
reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago
and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported using
currently supported versions of Chromium and Ubuntu? Please let us know
if you do and in which version of Ubuntu otherwise this report can be
left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.

Title:
Chromium overrides changes to its Application Autostart setting
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Per a discovery I made while working on 1176903, Chromium overrides
settings I make in Session and Startup > Application Autostart.
For example, suppose Chromium is completely closed, not even showing
an icon in the top bar for its background process. If I go to Session
and Startup > Application Autostart and uncheck Chromium, close that
window, start Chromium, then go back to Session and Startup >
Application Autostart, Chromium is rechecked.
Expected behavior: Chromium does not override manual changes to
Session and Startup > Application Autostart without asking my
permission.
