Title:
  Nautilus fails to start

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After a recent update, nautilus randomly refuses to start. Clicking on
the 'home' button in the unity bar results in blinking for a while,
then nothing. Trying to launch from a terminal does not give any
  information (it just hangs).

By the way, I noticed that when this happens I am unable to close my
session to avoid a complete reboot. (which is the only way I can get
around this bug for the moment)

It may happen that after a while (2/3 min) the issue resolves itslef.

  Ubuntu: 14.04.1 LTS
  nautilus: 1:3.10.1-0ubuntu9.4

I understand these are very few information, so please someone let me
know how to collect more info when this happens.
