Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) reached end-of-life on May 12, 2011.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: numlockx

  numlockx does not turn num lock keyboard light on. The keypad works,
  although the light is not on. This has always worked, now in Hardy it
  does not?
