At Lubuntu 18.04, a lot of users have difficulty with printer
compatibility. And the recent printer driver updates simply stopped

  Lubuntu 18.04 Daily: Can't configure printers

Bug description:
  When I try to start System Tools / Printers it spins for a while and
  goes away.

  When I try it from the command line it crashes with a python error
