the latest firefox crashes immediately

when starting firefox it crashes immediately. when you confirm mozillas error
dialog and click restart, the crash loops.
this happens when starting from the dash and also when starting from a
terminal. even with the -safe-mode flag.
this is a stack trace, when running firefox-dbg with -g
