Title:
Issues with Helper Applications and Square braces in Attachment(s)
Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
If I receive an email containing square braces in an attachment (e.g.
"foo[1].pdf") then the following message will occur in Thunderbird:
/tmp/foo[1].pdf could not be opened, because the associated helper
application does not exist. Change the association in your
preferences.
The problem does not occur with files that do not contain square
braces.
Thanks,
Patrick
