Hi Robert, I haven't forgotten you. Are you still in Ubuntu 16.04, or did you upgrade to 18.04? Not that you have to upgrade; I just thought I would check with you. My next step is to try to replicate it on my own computer. I now have three different versions of Thunderbird installed in containers - that's what took me so long to get back to you.
