Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

This community of support is farcical. I have written to the "support
community" no less than twice for help, and had some nominal initial
contact with no follow through.

Look, I don't want to give Bill Gates anything, period! However, I know
that there are fail safes, i.e. recover to a previous date config that
Windows offers. I have used it. It works! Meanwhile, I am dead in the
water.

As I described on a couple of previous occasions in this forum,
Thunderbird, which I have been using as my email program for about 6
months, cannot be booted. Further, I have tried to reinstall from the
download site, and that does not work either.

Does anybody have ideas on how I can get a decent email program to work
under Ubuntu?
