As this wasn't a confirmed Chromium bug we're closing this bug report as
being "Invalid".

Crash upon dragging a text from some applications
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Select a text block (not a file; important) in other application, drag
it over an chromium window. A SiegFault occurs.
This happen when dragging a text block from sertain applications. I've found
two of them:
1) PhpStorm
2) LibreOffice Calc
Ubuntu 14.04 amd64;
Version: 34.0.1847.116-0ubuntu2
