Title:
Bookmark button does not work in bookmark bar
Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Until Firefox 22, I used to have the bookmark menu button on the right
side of my bookmarks bar. So I could add the regular used Bookmarks
into the bookmark bar and select less often used ones from the menu
button located in the bar.
Since the update to Firefox 23 in Ubuntu, the bookmarks menu is not
displayed anymore in the bookmark bar or when moved to the navigation
bar. Although, I can see it in "edit mode" and it works when set into
the add-on-bar. Firefox in Windows 7 does not show this behaviour, it
still works as in Firefox 22.
I did already reduce the numbers of bookmarks and folders in the
bookmarks bar so the bookmarks menu fits into the bar. I also tries
starting Firefox without any addons.
The attached picture shows the bookmarks menu button in the bookmarks
bar below the navigation bar with Add-Ons in edit mode (in german).
