Title:
totem does not prompt for authentication on network locations

Status in Totem:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: totem

We have an icecast server which is used for private streams and so
  requires HTTP authentication.

In hardy, totem would happily prompt for the information and store it
  in gnome-keyring.

In intrepid, it does not seem to be able to do this. If the
username/password are encoded in the URL (i.e.
http://user:pass@server:1234/stream.m3u) it works fine, so this seems
to just relate to the part which asks the user for the authentication.
