Public bug reported: I have configured a custom alternative for gdm3.css.
$ update-alternatives --display gdm3.css gdm3.css - manual mode link best version is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css link currently points to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css link gdm3.css is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css - priority 1 /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css - priority 10 This alternative is used for the login screen, but not for the lock screen. I would expect this to be used for both. ** Affects: gdm3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770827 Title: GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen Status in gdm3 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have configured a custom alternative for gdm3.css. $ update-alternatives --display gdm3.css gdm3.css - manual mode link best version is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css link currently points to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css link gdm3.css is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css - priority 1 /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css - priority 10 This alternative is used for the login screen, but not for the lock screen.
