I can't completely confirm mine was at Chromium app shutdown, but it probably was, as I also didn't notice it until seeing the crash icon in the launcher. I usually shutdown a browser app when too tabs have accumulated. It's the first instance I've noticed on Chromium, which has otherwise been stable. I use in lieu of FF which is very unstable, and usually crashes when trying to open a new tab.
I do update daily, so if Chromium becomes a problematic trend, I'd suspect an update. So far though, Chromium appears rock-solid other than that glitch.
