Status in tex-common package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I do not know what happened. Just after starting Ubuntu a pop-up
showed up saying something is wrong I asking whether I want to report
a bug. Of course, I want to report a bug but I have nothing more to
say abut it. I guess the system gathered all the information you need.

  Kind regards,
  Sławek
