it would have been easier to use ubuntu-bug to report the issue, it
would have included the session/versions/errors informations.
Could you add your /var/log/syslog to the bug and add the output of the
"env | grep -i session" command?

while browsing File Manager with nautilus, it does not show different
icons for files and directory. Please see attached screenshot.
