It seems to be a known bug in cairo. Here is the fix. I'll also make this

When opening the PDF file available at:
https://mega.nz/#!QUlxRabb!CkbkbKanfjFCO6OaKCoFq2_yHoIWChV-ruc3PHB87E8
evince/pdftocairo are core dumping.
As far as I can tell it's because the underlying lib (cairo/poppler)
has a bug.
