Title:
gnome-shell crashed with signal 5 in _XIOError()

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
have kind of complex issues after upgrading from 17.04 to 17.10, and
also want to mention that not sure that all of them relates to Gnome

  1 - lock-screen (Super+L) forces back to desktop after 15-25 minutes without
asking for a password (is it security-related issue or not?)
2 - multiple monitors connection issue (looks like OS not able to operate 3
monitors: built-in laptop display + 2 monitors connected via dok-station) the
main issue was that while working, all displays may fall sleep, even while in
system settings it was prohibited.
after i tried deactivate 3-rd display from system preferances, and than
activate it acain - i just could not activate, after pushing button Apply -
again going back to 2 active displays.
in cmd command xrandr --listmonitors and --listactivemonitors shows only 2
available displays, but after running xrandr --auto, third monitor was
identified, but it is unable to set is as separate monitor, only as mirror of
built-in display.
3 - some times, after locking laptop, instead of lock screen it make my user
log-off (after loging in getting message about gnome crash)
4 - some times after unlocking display it takes 2-5 seconts to display top
gnome bar (i see open app windows but dont see anything else on desktop)

PS: Sorry for such mess of issues, i'm using this report tool first
  time.

PPS: can attach logs or any dumps if it will be needed/requested.
