Title:
Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in OsAbort()
Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Please consider this in advance, I'm new to Linux and trying to learn
it. This happened to me while installing the last update. In the
istalling phase I close the lid of my laptop, so it made to go sleep
mode. I believe this caused corrupted files, because after I wanted to
resurme, (which was about 20 seconds later) lot of the icons were gone
on the UI, and couldn't log in. I couldn't do anything else, I force
shut it down. After restarting (about 2 hours later, I went home for
faster internet ), after the loading screen, only a black screen
awaited me. After a lot of restarts in advanced mode, and codes found
on foruns it started again, and worked nearly the same as before. The
install was crashed and couldn't restart it. I've tried to do it
manually ( with sudo apt full-upgrade, also apt-get install "xyz" ).
The bud report is still here, so I decided to to make things any
worse.
