Today I upgraded my distro to Ubuntu 17.10.

Problem is still the same, set IPv6 to manual and your system freeze.

Title:
system freezes on IPv6 manual configuration

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I have the weirdest network bug ever...

  I'm using Gnome-desktop (not unity).
When configuring IPv6 in the network preferences, if I set address to manual
and enter my IPv6, its /64 prefix, and its gateway, the system FREEZES if
something like firefox tries to make any IPv6 access.

screen freezes, no ping, no console, good to be hard rebooted.

This doesn't happen in automatic where I get a automated IPv6 from router
announcement, and I can add my address with
  > ifconfig eth0 inet6 add myip/64
  without any problem.

Ubuntu 17.04 fresh install, I had the same on a upgraded install
