I'm using Gnome-desktop (not unity). When configuring IPv6 in the network preferences, if I set address to manual and enter my IPv6, its /64 prefix, and its gateway, the system FREEZES if something like firefox tries to make any IPv6 access. screen freezes, no ping, no console, good to be hard rebooted. This doesn't happen in automatic where I get a automated IPv6 from router announcement, and I can add my address with > ifconfig eth0 inet6 add myip/64 without any problem.
