Title:
unity-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5 in _XReply() seemingly
  without user interaction

Status in unity-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Some background process must have triggered this. I was using the
machine and did not notice anything visibly fail.

There are a number of similar bugs reported with titles starting
"unity-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5" but none are for 16.04
and required no user input. I expect this will ultimately be marked
as a duplicate of one of them, I cannot work out which one.
