Public bug reported: Running firefox 50.1 on gnome 17.04 and every restart of firefox I have to reset my homepage. Tried the normal way by dragging the current tab to the homepage icon and manually editing prefs.js to the wanted homepage. Once set the homepage setting is held until firefox reload. Since the /home page is common to both the 17.04 system and 16.10 gnome system I've tried to reproduce this failure on 16.10 but cannot.
