Title:
cannot cancel adding files or directories to an existing archive

Status in File Roller:
  Confirmed
Status in file-roller package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: file-roller

To reproduce, create or find any archive supported by file-roller then
add some big file or directory (size doesn't matter but when it's
large it helps you notice the problem) either from menu (Edit -> Add
  Files.../Add a Folder...) or by drag'n'dropping file(s)/folder(s) onto
the archive. Then you see it's impossible to cancel the procedure by
  clicking 'Cancel' button.
