Title: first time connection/driver download problem. printer hp 1006 Status in hplip package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After first connection of the printer to laptop via usb, we see notify in top right corner, something like: downloading proprietary file for hp 1006 printer... And nothing happened next. I were obligated to do manually 'sudo hp-setup' and add printer. As i remember, in older versions of Ubuntu, after first plug in of the printer, were pop-up window, were you need to press several times 'enter', agree with license and finally hear nice sound of the printer witch signalize that all is OK.
