Note this is already fixed in the latest stable version of WebKitGTK+. We are behind in releasing a security advisory, but you should really make sure you have the latest version, as always.

When on Facebook, and typing the first word in a post, or in a sentence, the letter is always doubled, when using the shift key. It is nearly impossible to find any information on the internet about this, and while I would prefer to run Epiphany as default browser, this is a deal breaker for me.
