@svenmeir In addition to what you have described, do you get video but not audio with http://camendesign.com/code/video_for_everybody/test.html? (See bug 858466.) If so, then you probably have the same problem setiamon was having, and this bug (bug 874834, not bug 858466 which is actually probably more than one different bug) indeed ought to be revived.
