For me the following "fixed" the Bug: I mounted the SMB shares via fstab to something like
/home/media/user/mountpoint Before this the link to the smb share was something like "'/run/user/1000/gvfs/smb- share:server=name_of_server,share=Name_of_smb_share/folder'". Now the library scan works flawless.
