popups frequently loses focus

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox
pop up loses focus and move behind window or shuts down.
sometimes popup would keep switching from from front to back quickly a few
tmes before it stays on top.
using firexfox 4.01 on 10.04 LTS
this occurs on both my laptop and netbook
