The button shows what clicking the button will do, and as it is on the button itself I do not feel this is misleading.
Anyway I believe this affects gnome-control-center rather than unity. ** Package changed: unity (Ubuntu) => gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) ** Project changed: unity => gnome-control-center -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879925 Title: User accounts lock button should show 'current' state instead Status in GNOME Control Center: New Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In the user accounts settings, the lock/unlock button shows the state "after" clicking the button. In my opinion this is misleading, as I would expect it to "indicate" the current state. Instead show the current state and change the text to "locked/unlocked".
