Title:
"Network disconnected" notification pop-up after startup
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Release: Xubuntu 11.10
Architecture: x86_64
System: Acer TravelMate 5740G Notebook
When I boot up my notebook, right after I log into the XFCE session, I
immediately get a pop-up message box that my wireless connection was
disconnected - a second before my wireless card finishes establishing the
connection, which takes two or three seconds. I always have to conform this
message to make the useless message box dissapear, which is kinda annoying.
I am hoping for a fix, wich could work by integrating a timer, causing the
notification system to wait a few seconds before checking and posting the
wireless netwrk status, so the wlan card is given the few seconds it may need.
