** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1400214 Title: LibreOffice no longer converts text to table correctly Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Text-to-table conversion converts into a single line/row of cells. This isn't correct. It should honor line breaks (or some arbitrary separator) and place succeeding column cells in a new row. There used to be an option in the conversion which allowed the user to specify arbitrary line/row break character(s), but there isn't any linebreak option in the present implementation. Text-to-table conversion worked correctly under 12.04, which I haven't used for several months now, having upgraded to 14.04.
