Public bug reported: Feature request:
When you install a new application, a little animation follows in which the icon flies from the software centre window into the launcher. But it is a very basic and unbecoming animation. I think it could be improved by by making it less linear in one (or preferably several) of the following ways: * varying the speed at which it moves * varying the path through which it travels (e.g. spiral, erratic, etc.) * varying the icon size (start huge and shrink down to size as it moves, or grow and then shrink) * begin transparent and then become progressively more opaque as it moves and so on ... ** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1520426 Title: Improve animation adding icon to launcher Status in software-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Feature request: When you install a new application, a little animation follows in which the icon flies from the software centre window into the launcher.
