Title: Opening the "New message" tooltip makes the desktop extremely slow Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: 1. Open Gwibber 2. Click the "New message" icon (I have the Spanish version of Ubuntu, so the name may vary in English) The whole desktop becomes really slow. It appears like the refresh rate for all animations is slower. It is specially notable in the dash, but it can even be seen when writing in a text field (there is a delay between the key press and the action in the screen).
