Public bug reported: X apps are very laggy under Xmir.
This is a simple problem whereby Xmir has introduced a second layer of nesting on top of an already laggy nested system. I have a solution for this bug ready, but it can't be enabled until Unity8 bug 1497828 is fixed. ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Daniel van Vugt (vanvugt) Status: In Progress ** Tags: performance xmir ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1502738 Title: X apps are very laggy under Xmir Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: X apps are very laggy under Xmir.
