Title: Every second time a menu item is selected window exits from maximized state Status in compiz package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: To replicate follow these steps 1) Maximize an application that has a menu bar (Firefox, Thunderbird, Gnome Terminal, Libre Office, ...) 2) Select a menu item, for instance Help -> "About Firefox" in Firefox application 3) Close the about window 4) Click on the menu bar again (for instance "Help" in Firefox) to expand the associated menu Result is that the application window exits from its maximized state.
