The control panel doesn't use GTK+ 3.x. It still uses 2.x in that screenshot. Natalia, can you elaborate on how it's a GTK+ issue instead of a control-panel one?

The first time, it didn't show the text from the left pane (see screenshot). The second time, it was shown but not the buttons text. When I move the mouse over the buttons, text appears.
