You have been subscribed to a public bug: Description: Ubuntu 15.04 Release: 15.04 Variant: Xubuntu
What you expected to happen: Changes in /etc/default/keyboard to be effective. What happened instead: Nothing. ex: FileĀ : /etc/default/keyboard # KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION FILE # Consult the keyboard(5) manual page. XKBMODEL="pc105" XKBLAYOUT="fr" XKBVARIANT="latin9" XKBOPTIONS="altwin:ctrl_alt_win" BACKSPACE="guess" Nothing happens after boot. (but setxkbmap -option alt win:ctrl_alt_win does works) Suggestion : -Remove /etc/default/keyboard as it doesn't seems to serve any purpose other than misleading people. -Make somehow working as it should. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment default keyboard setxkbmap xubuntu -- changes in /etc/default/keyboard not loaded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1490255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
