I do not have an Epson scanner. I have an Agfa Snapscan 1212U scanner. I an not find any drivers for this scanner anywhere.

XSANE gave me the message: "failed to open device 'snapscan:libusb:002:002': invalid argument". Simple Scan gave me the message: "Unable to connect to scanner" Image Scan for Linux gave me the message: "Could not send command to scanner. Check the scanner's status. " I loathe the prospect of going back to my Vista box. how do I get my Ubuntu box to connect to the scanner. It's definitely posered, the USb is definitely plugged in; I'm out of my depth. The scanner works find with my Vista box, but I loathe working with vista.
