Public bug reported:
When Evolution was shipped as the default email client in Ubuntu then
Open/Libre Office was able to use the Evolution address book as an address data
source by default. If the User installed Thunderbird then the option to use the
Thunderbird address book was ONLY available by uninstalling the version of
LO/OO shipped with Ubuntu and installing the version available directly from
the OO/LO website.
Now that the default email client that ships with Ubuntu 11.10 has been changed
to Thunderbird there is STLL no option to use the Thunderbird Addressbook as an
Addressbook source in the Ubuntu-shipped version of LO. The ONLY solution is
STILL to uninstall the shipped version of LO and install the version of LO
downloaded from the LO website.
