Jedna Dvatři, I am willing to push forward on OTR again if need be. First I am going to try to reach out to Jprvita one more time. This is what I know right now which is rather out dated and it does show that according to his time-line it should be done, but deadlines can be hard when dealing with so many peices of code that need to be implemented. https://live.gnome.org/JoaoPauloRechiVita_Telepathy_OTR But I am also pretty sure that the code for Telepathy.Gabble was completed to support OTR. I think he was bogged down when he started trying to integrate it into Empathy.

There were a few minor things that could be improved (e.g. automatically resizing the contact list), but that is not the topic here. The reason why I won't switch to empathy from pidgin is the missing OTR support (http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr/ ). This is a really important feature because no one should read your messages.
