Title: After reverting to "no proxy" /system/http_proxy/use_http_proxy in gconf stays activated. i Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “banshee” source package in Oneiric: Confirmed Bug description: Did fail using most of the internet-related features of banshee because banshee did try to use the proxy (Null) and failed there. The reason for this failure was that I had used a proxy wees ago and reverting to "direct internet connection" did not revert the key /system/http_proxy/use_http_proxy to "false".
