Title:
extra panel should be able to "follow" dir changes from the other side

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

if you have two similar directory trees and want to compare/maintain these,
you happen to change relative directories in the same manner a lot i.e. change
left panel to subdir A, change right panel to subdir A, copy/edit stuff in left
or/to/from right panel, cd .. in both, cd subdir B in both...
the dir changes done on one side could be automatically applied to the other
side. this is done by some file managers and ftp clients that use the
"commander" like view. this behavior should of course be switchable (e.g. via a
menu entry in the go menu "synchronize panes").
