Public bug reported: Hello
I use Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits and Rhythmbox 3.0.2. When I listen to music file whether they are mp3, ogg or any other format, the application make a strange noise during playback, it's a noise which looks like reading a music CD with computer data track. It happens randomly on several tracks, it can happen on one track and if read again not and vice-versa. I have tested the same music files on VLC and SMPLAYER and did not get the same issues. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1378982 Title: A strange screeching sound is heard randomly Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hello I use Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits and Rhythmbox 3.0.2.
